Delicious No-Bake Energy Bites

Hey gang! I hope you are all doing amazing today!

So recently, I received a lot of questions about the energy balls I posted up on Instagram a few weeks back. And at last, I am here to share the delicious goodness with you guys!

My new found obsession for energy balls began when I was on a hunt for a tasty and somewhat healthy snack. And that was when I discovered Freshii’s ‘Energii Bites’. Guys, SO FREAKING GOOD! It was love at first bite.

I just thought to myself, I need these tasty bites on the daily. And that is what became of these bad boys. I found the exact flavour I was looking for and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve been sharing these with family, friends, and co-workers and they have been enjoying them as well.

See below… a bomb ass recipe that will most definitely bring joy into your life and body!

Ingredients
  • 2/3 cup Smooth Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1/2 cup Ground Flax Seeds
  • 4 tablespoons Honey
  • 2.5 tablespoons Chia Seeds
  • 2.5 tablespoons Unsweetened Shredded Coconut
Directions
  1. Stir all the ingredients in a medium or large bowl. I use a large bowl because I am a huge mess! Ensure that everything is combined well.
  2. Once combined, cover and place in the fridge or freezer for 30 minutes. You can use that time to clean up, get in a quick workout, or go for a walk. Whatever it is, do you boo!
  3. Roll into 1-inch bite-size circles. Depending on how big or small the circles are you will end up with 12 – 16 energy bites.
  4. Enjoy! You can store in the fridge for up to a week or in the freezer for up to three months.
Tips
  • Add as little or as much honey as needed with this recipe. I found myself using this amount but depending on how what type of oats you use, you may decide to use a little less.
  • Try out different variations: you can use a different nut/seed butter, add in hemp hearts or other chopped nuts/seeds, and you always top it off with some of your favourite spices, like cocoa, vanilla, or cinnamon powder. You can also take out any ingredients you don’t like. Make it personal to you.

There you go, my new favourite go-to recipe for when I need a quick pick me up and energy burst.

Will you be trying this recipe out? If you do, let me know what you think. I would also love to know what your go-to snack is when you are in need of energy? Let me know in the comments! Until next time, find your source of euphoria.
